That sounds like a personal problem.
Name: Traci Thirteen/Traci 13
Birthday: Unknown
Age: 16-18?
Height: 5'6"
Weight: Unknown
Medical Info: To my knowledge at the moment there is nothing particularly unusual about Traci's medical history and she hasn't been injured that I can recall.
Eyes: Brown.
Hair: Black
Physical Features: Awesome fashion sense when she wants to? Okay, seriously, despite half my icons, Traci actually looks more like the art from Blue Beetle if only because she's supposed to be half-Asian and as awesome as the art from Tales of the Unexpected is, that's not how she should look. She may be carrying around a staff, but not all the time because that's just plain weird.

What's Okay To Mention: Anything. Traci's canon made it clear to her that she's a fictional creation of the DC editors who can write her out of continuity and write her back in at will (and demonstrated this by immolating her father, no less). Believe me, nothing at camp can shock her.

Abilities: Traci is a Magi, which means that she possesses a genetic ability to use magic as a result of descending from the Atlanteans. It means she's got a whole bunch of abilities. I'm going to update this list as canon tells me more.

Magical Sight
Traci can see auras and divine things about the person, an example being when she worked out that Clark Kent led a double life just by looking at him. If it's recent enough, she can trace someone using their aural signature (I imagine this is how she found Jaime Reyes in #16) and she can see things that are invisible to the naked eye due to both invisibility or being on a different plane. This ability runs all the time.

Astral Projection
Traci can project part of her consciousness away from her body, resulting in her literally doing two things at once. Normally the two things are very mundane -- playing with Jaime's younger relatives while talking to him at the same time.

Magical Spells
These are remarkably varied. She's been seen doing things such as reviving someone from unconsciousness to teleporting across the world to dismissing a demon to, of all things, changing someone's sexual orientation. Really, her only limitation is how much magical power she's got to throw around and she's able to recharge relatively quickly.

Protective barriers
Traci can throw up protective barriers around a person or thing which are reasonably powerful. For example, they won't protect a house from being blown up from an energy shot FROM SPACE but it would seem to siphon off enough energy to make sure that everyone inside was unharmed and that there was just the frame of the house (and not, say a shiny crater in the ground).

Divination
Traci can find stuff and then dump it in your head, essentially. That's about it.

Fate Sense
Traci, when in new and strange places, occasionally gets a feeling that Something Important Is Going To Happen Here. It's very useful when you're a superhero.

Talking to Cities
Much like Jack Hawksmoor, Traci can talk to a city's consciousness, finding out how it's feeling, what's going on, whether there's anything weird and wacky going on downtown. She doesn't necessarily have to be standing in the city, but I think it helps.

Swords
Traci's good enough with a sword to use it while talking to Jaime about Stuff. I'm not sure whether this means anything (I mean, they were the undead) but she's not bad.

Notes for Psychics Traci is pretty much what you get. An irrelevent, free-spirited mystical detective with a hidden streak of badass. There's nothing really exciting here.

Shapeshifting/Bodyswapping/Spitting at/Stepping on/Etc: Yes to all of the above, but I should be asked first!

Hugging/Kissing/Other Non-Violent Physical Contact: Go for it, although really she'll be initiating it with you.

Maim/Murder/Death: Well, no. I reserve the right to call in godmode boyfriend at any time.

Emo/Angst/Drama: I'm going to say yes, but as long as it's not unrelenting drama that never ends. That's not the type of book Blue Beetle is.

Cooking: I assume so because otherwise she's going hungry.

I wanna horrify you into a coma.
So if anyone's spoken to me for ...oh, about five minutes, they've probably found out that I'm doing my honours paper on comic books.

Specifically, what I am doing is LGBT issues and superheroes.

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN.  I have some ideas about which titles to read but the superhero thing is vast and I am babyreader.  So!  What I am after is titles that have the following:
  • superheroes
  • alluding to, addressing or even dismissing (GET YOUR VENT ON :D) LGBT issues
I'd prefer to keep it within the superheroic genre, if only because I have no idea about the legal system in Japan and so manga/anime would be rather awkward.  It can be in any format (so comics, movies, tv shows, novels) but it just needs superheroes.

I do the weirdest topics ever for uni, I swear.

You and your third dimension.
This is a post I never expected to make.

HETALIA PLAYERS.

Traci's magic works on her drawing magic from. well. places. Like countries!  THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN.
  1. Is Traci allowed to draw magic from...well, your character? IT DOESN'T HURT.
  2. What type of magic would it be?
EXAMPLES (my apologies to the characters in question I LOVE YOU REALLY.)

Canada: Bilingual in both French and English. Can also summon moose.
The UK: can summon mystical creatures like dragons and unicorns.  Also can make an awesome cup of tea.

BASICALLY.  SOMETHING THAT IS UNIQUE TO YOUR CHARACTER/COUNTRY.  It can be cracky, it can be serious, I really don't mind.

Plaque's a figment of the liberal media.
Fan: Piggybacking off that question, any chance of seeing Traci 13 or Spoiler in TT as members or supporting cast?
Sean McKeever: You will see them.

DO NOT WANT.

God! That'll take a thousand hours!
Who picked up her comics finally? I did!  And because you all totally care about my ramblings, my opinions, under the cut. Also you can see what utter trash I read. It's great times for the whole family.

You and your third dimension.
It has come to my attention that I am in a rut with my characters. And this will not do!  So my mission, that I am choosing to accept, is to have at least five new people to tag for each character that are neither canonmates nor people I tag regularly.  What this means for you is that if you want me to tag your character, let me know now. Because I am making a concerted effort to get out of this rut, play regularly and have awesome relationships with lots of different characters.  ARE WE COOL.  I am going to write some people down too, for my own goals.  But I want moar. I want to play off you.  SO LET'S DO THIS THING.

THE LIST. )
MY MISSION is to fill all of these boxes. CAN WE DO IT.

You don't really need kidneys.
[Here be your generic interaction post with Traci. Comment away and hopefully I will get alerts!]
